That nice warm feeling

Last week saw the launch of Towncourt Homes' latest block of spacious luxury two and three bedroom apartment, Brooklyn, located at Evening Hill in Lilliput. As far as show home launch weekends go, this made a substantial impact, with some 300 visitors viewing on the weekend.

So why did these apartments create such a stir? If we put aside the impressive art deco facade and luxurious communal areas with authentic art deco lighting, this scheme of apartments has one crucial advantage – it breaks records when it comes to energy conservation and noise pollution. Love apartments or hate them, our worst fear is noisy disruptive neighbours, or even polite friendly neighbours with nocturnal habits. At Brooklyn the acoustic performance sets new records. This is due in part to construction using the insulated concrete formwork (ICF) system.
